Indigo Vales is taking a pause today. Seems like it’s been on pause for a week, actually. It’s hard to focus with that day on the calendar. What that day means for families whose lives were forever changed and my country that was forever changed.

So between dog-walking trips for the neighbor, assembling furniture, thinking about the Jets game, thinking about so many things, between and writing writing rewriting more writing, there is a pause.
